Mr. Owens is the President and Founder of Owens Forest Products and started his career working in the lumber industry with J.C. Campbell Company out of Minnesota. His business management experience led him to his current position of 31 years. During his time with Owens Forest Products, Mr. Owens has developed an aggressive procurement policy with a firm commitment to support worldwide conservation and active forest management practices with the objectives of improving forest health, enhancing wildlife habitat, and protecting water quality and biodiversity.
Bob has countless professional affiliations including: American Forest and Paper Association, American Hardwood Export Council, Business Advisory Council of Temperate Forest Foundation, Hardwood Forest Foundation, Lake States Lumber Association, Minnesota Timber Producers Association, National Hardwood Lumber Association and North American Wholesale Lumber Association. Mr. Owens holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Westminster College of Missouri.
