- The Foundation produced three Teacher Forestry Tours this year:

- Lake States Tour - Escanaba, MI
- Northeast Tour - Saranac Lake, NY
- Teacher Forestry Tour graduate lesson plans have been added to the web site.
- Six of the Foundation's educational videos have been converted from VHS to DVD format:

- A Forest Vision
- America's Forests: A History of Resiliency and Recovery
- The Foundation produced the Eco-Links: Wildlife and Forests and Climate Change: Forests and Carbon Sequestration.
2006
- The Foundation produced three Teacher Forestry Tours this year:
- Pacific Northwest Tour - Portland, OR
- Lake States Tour - Grand Rapids, MN
- Northeast Tour - Saranac Lake, NY
- A new governance structure was adopted by the new Board of Governance.
- The Foundation produced the Eco-Link: Forests as Financial Assets.
2005
- Developed new strategic plan
- The Foundation produced four Teacher Forestry Tours this year:

- Northeastern Tour - Saranac Lake, NY
- South-Central Tour - Hot Springs, AR
- Western Canadian Tour - Vancouver, British Columbia
- Bob Owens, President and CEO of Owens Forest Products, was appointed new Temperate Forest Foundation Chairman
2004
- Produced first calendar

- Bob Owens and Snavely Forest Products (Chris Snavely, Steve Snavely and Susan Fitzsimmons) won Foundation’s third and fourth Distinguished Service Award.
- The Foundation produced five Teacher Forestry Tours this year including one new tour in British Columbia, Canada:

- Responding to demand, the Foundation produced additional tours this summer:

- A new video, entitled A Forest Vision was released
- (April) Exhibit at the NSTA Annual Convention in Las Vegas, NV
- Renee King became the Foundation’s third Office Manager and first CFO
- The Foundation's web presence grew, through content and a new site design

1997
- Hot on the success of the 1996 Teacher Forestry Tours, the Foundation repeated the Moncks Corner tour and produced a new tour in the Northeast at Bucksport, ME
- (April) Exhibit at the NSTA Annual Convention in New Orleans, LA
- A new video, Two Sides of Fire was released
- Created new CD-ROM, Forests of the South
- Created Screen Saver II and offers it free online
- Created new Poster, Nature's Perfect Recycling Factory

1996
- The Foundation keynoted the third Redwood Region Teachers' Tour
- Produced the first Southeastern Teacher Forestry Tours in Moncks Corner, SC
- (April) The Foundation exhibits at the NSTA Annual Convention in St. Louis, MO.
- Released a new video entitled The Dynamic Forest
- Foundation web site was created at www.forestinfo.org
