2001 Intermountain Teachers' Tour
Lewiston, Idaho - July 11-14

Welcome to the Home Page for 2001 Intermountain Region Teachers' Tour. This tour was based in Lewiston, Idaho right across the Snake River from Clarkston, Washington. The twin cities are named after Lewis and Clark.

Lewiston and Clarkston are the furthest inland ports in the Western United States.

Barges and River Boats navigate the Columbia River and then take the Snake River up to these ports.

This Quality Inn of Clarkston, Washington was our base camp for the tour.

The hotel is on the bank of the Snake River.

This beautiful facility has a putting course, a driving range, swimming pool and hiking trails.
