Welcome to the Home Page for the
2003 Intermountain Teachers' Tour

July 9-12, 2003

This tour is based in Lewiston, Idaho right across the Snake River from Clarkston, Washington. The twin cities, named after Lewis and Clark are the furthest inland ports in the Western United States. Barges and river boats navigate the Columbia River and then take the Snake River up to these ports.

For some background statistics on the Forest and Paper industry in Idaho, read the American Forest & Paper Association's, Idaho Forest & Paper Industry At a Glance publication (you will need Adobe's Acrobat Reader to view.)
