Description: "A Forest in Balance" was written, directed and produced by four graduates of the Forestry Institute for Teachers session in August 1994 held at the University of California Forestry Camp. The teachers wanted to bring "the sights and sounds of the forest" to their classrooms and decided to return the next year and video tape the Institute. "The Forest in Balance" is designed to be used as a supplement for curriculum units on forestry and natural resource management.
