Review & Evaluation

Saturday morning is when we will all meet in the hotel conference room for a closing presentation by Bob Legg and evaluations by the teachers.  This would be an exciting part of the tour, where teachers will share their thoughts and the perceptions they had before and after the tour. And we'll finally say goodbye to our new friends...

Below we will have the pictures and some of the responses from teachers in reply to: What did you enjoy about this program and What new perceptions do you have...?

These pictures are from last year's tour.

Bob Legg conducts a Power Point presentation as the Lake States Tour comes to successful completion.

Teachers carefully filled out evaluation forms for the purpose of helping us better suit the needs of future participants of the teachers' tours.

After evaluations were completed each teacher spent around 2-3 minutes explaining what they learned and how they were going to incorporate the new knowledge in their classrooms.
One of the few times Bart was not throwing out puns, although when it as his turn to speak he managed to tell a story about a diseased tree whose bark was worse than it's blight. (Better than the logarithm joke he told at Abrams Lumber Yard.)
"Hey, the only thing we knew about old growth in the inner city was that they were good to hide behind during drive-by shootings."
A few of the teachers decided to give an award for the first bracelet lost in a mill on a teachers' tour. The bracelet was made completely out of Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate paper from the IP mill we toured.
It took awhile but finally everyone settled down for a group picture. Nice looking bunch, eh?
