High Cliff State Park

Before donning our raingear and heading out to the trail, we were treated to a box lunch courtesy of LSLA Education Incorporated.

Ron Jones, DNR Forester who covers several counties in Wisconsin, briefs us on the history of the park and what we can expect when we go out into the forest.
The small meadow we hiked through held many interesting fern and fauna. A little frog had to hop out aside as we made our way back to the bus.
